Move your Tonal to a new address more than 50 miles away or across state lines.

A professional installation partner will visit your current home to uninstall Tonal and prepare it for transport. Once your trainer arrives at the new address, another installation partner will reinstall it at your new home.

What’s Included

Your installation partner will:

• Uninstall Tonal from your current home.
• Install Tonal at your new home.
• Install new relocation hardware to ensure a secure mount.

Appointment time: approximately 2 hours for each appointment

You will be responsible for packing and transporting your Tonal to its new home.

Someone 18 or older must be present during the appointment.

IMPORTANT: We DO NOT recommend installing Tonal yourself. Tonal’s warranty does not cover damage caused by improper uninstallation.

What You Need to Know

• Keep your existing wall mount after uninstallation.
• You will be responsible for packing and transporting your Tonal and Wall Mount between homes.
• Damage to your Tonal or mount during your move is not covered under warranty. Many customers choose to insure Tonal with their movers, similar to a TV.
• Your new installation location must meet Tonal installation requirements.
• If studs are 17–24 inches apart, you’ll need Wide Mount Adapter Bars - If you aren't sure, buy one risk-free and return it on reinstallation day.
• Hardware is not reused during relocations for safety reasons.

Appointment Scheduling

Purchase your relocation kit at least three (3) weeks prior to your preferred appointment date.

Your uninstallation appointment will be scheduled first. After that appointment has been completed, your reinstallation appointment will be scheduled.

If this timeline does not work with your move date, please contact Tonal Customer Care.

Customers in Hawaii and Alaska should ensure their relocation hardware is available on site for the installation team.

How Tonal Relocations Work

Purchase Your Relocation Kit

Order the relocation kit that matches your move. We recommend purchasing at least three weeks before your move to allow time for scheduling.

Your Order Processes

We will process your order and send you a survey link. Your order will not be processed until the survey is completed.

Share Your Move Details

Provide Tonal with your current and new installation addresses, preferred move dates, and installation location details so we can coordinate your relocation.

Schedule Your Appointments

For local or long-distance moves, reinstallation cannot be scheduled until your Tonal has been successfully removed from the original location

Move and Reinstall Your Tonal

Transport your Tonal to the new location. Our installation team will arrive with the necessary hardware to securely reinstall your trainer. If you require a wide mount and did not originally have one, it must be purchased when placing your relocation order.

Tonal Delivery & Installation

Professional installation requirements: 7 ft of unobstructed wall space, 7 ft × 7 ft of floor space, 7 feet, 10 inches of ceiling height, Reliable WiFi connection, 3-prong power outlet within 6 feet of installation location

Prepare Your New Space

Make sure your new location meets these requirements:

Compatible wall with studs (16–24 in spacing)
Minimum 7 ft of workout space (3.5 ft on each side, 7 ft in front)
Ceiling height of at least 7 ft (7’10” recommended for full range of motion)
Reliable WiFi connection
3-prong power outlet within 6 ft of installation

Note: You’re responsible for moving your Tonal between locations. Transportation is not provided.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I move my Tonal myself?

We don’t recommend reinstalling Tonal yourself. The system is heavy and requires proper handling and precise wall mounting. Improper installation or relocation may result in damage not covered under warranty.

What’s the difference between the relocation options?

Same Home: Move Tonal to another wall in the same home. We complete the uninstall and reinstall in the same home
Reinstall Only: You uninstall it yourself, and we reinstall it
Local Move: Move to a new address within 50 miles. We uninstall it and reinstall it. Transportation of Tonal and mounts are not included.
Long Distance Move: Move over 50 miles or across state lines. We uninstall and reinstall it. Transportation of Tonal and mounts are not included.

Can uninstall and reinstall happen on the same day?

Same-day uninstall and reinstall is not available for local or long-distance moves outside of the same home, as different service teams might handle each step. Once your Tonal has been successfully uninstalled, you can then schedule your reinstallation appointment at the new location.

What should I prepare before my installation?

Ensure your new space meets Tonal installation requirements, including wall compatibility, space clearance, and power access. This helps avoid delays during reinstallation.

How should I package my Tonal for a move?

Tonal can be packed similarly to a large TV—keep the display facing up (flat on its back) and do not place items on top to prevent damage.If you self-installed and have the original box, use that; otherwise, wrap the trainer securely with bubble wrap and moving blankets. Check with your moving company for specific packing requirements or materials they may provide. Accessories can be packed with your other belongings. While we can make suggestions for how to pack your Tonal, remember that damage during moves is not covered under your warranty so please prioritize packaging it securely and consider getting it specifically insured by any movers.

Does Tonal handle transportation?

No, transportation of your Tonal and wall mounts is not included. You are responsible for safely transporting your Tonal to the new location.

Will my warranty still be valid after relocation?

Yes — if your Tonal is relocated using approved methods and services. Damage caused by improper uninstall or installation not done by our professional service providers, or damage caused in a move are not covered under warranty, but otherwise your Tonal warranty continues to apply for the remainder of the original time period.

Can I move my Tonal internationally?

Tonal does not currently support international relocations. Taking Tonal out of the country will void your warranty, and you won’t be able to get your trainer serviced if there’s an issue.

How long does the relocation process take?

Relocation timelines vary, but orders typically take up to 7 days to process before the service can be scheduled. For local or long-distance moves, reinstallation cannot be scheduled until your Tonal has been successfully removed from the original location.

Will my Tonal work the same after relocation?

Yes. Once properly installed in a compatible space, your Tonal will function the same as before.
